AHG stands for American Heritage Girls...we joined about a year and a half ago now. It's a Christian version of Girl Scouts and develops character through patriotic traditions, outdoor activities, and encouragement to grow in their walk with the Lord. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.
I've now served in several roles besides Mom in our troop and I've enjoyed the comradery of other moms who are in the trenches raising godly girls like I'm trying to do!
